Location: Offshore Newfoundland
Job Description:
Supports the Chief Engineer in managing all engine room operations, including propulsion, power generation, and auxiliary systems on the offshore unit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate, maintain, and monitor engine and machinery systems
• Supervise engine room crew and daily maintenance tasks
• Record engine performance data and report issues
• Ensure compliance with safety and pollution prevention regulations
Requirements:
• Valid STCW (Engine Officer license)
• Offshore experience as Second Engineer or equivalent
• Medical fitness certificate
• Good English communication
