Location: Toowoomba, QLD
About the Role:
The Assistant Driller supports the Driller in day-to-day rig operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all drilling activities.
Main Duties:
Assist the Driller with equipment operation and monitoring.
Supervise rig crew and enforce safety compliance.
Maintain drilling parameters and operational records.
Perform mechanical checks and troubleshooting.
Report to the Driller and Rig Manager.
You’ll Need:
Experience in drilling or oilfield operations.
Valid drilling and safety certifications (IWCF or equivalent preferred).
Strong leadership, mechanical, and teamwork skills.
Good communication and problem-solving ability.
