Location: Toowoomba, QLD
About the Role:
The Lead Floorhand coordinates the rig floor team and ensures safe, efficient, and consistent operations on site. This role combines hands-on work with supervision and mentoring responsibilities.
Main Duties:
Oversee floor operations and assist with drilling activities.
Train and support junior crew members.
Ensure safety checks and maintenance are completed.
Coordinate workflow between derrickman, motorhand, and driller.
Maintain HSE standards across all operations.
You’ll Need:
Minimum 3 years’ rig floor experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Valid safety and drilling certifications.
Ability to perform under pressure in remote areas.
